The Moved Academy Level 1 Certification is a 3-month course designed for fitness professionals, personal trainers, and health coaches looking to deepen their understanding of movement, tension, and assessment. It’s especially beneficial for newer coaches who want to build confidence, learn how to assess their clients holistically, and develop programming that addresses the root cause of pain or movement issues.

Moved Academy emphasizes the fundamentals of tension rather than just focusing on body positioning. The certification goes beyond the typical anatomy and programming, incorporating aspects of psychology, emotional connections to movement, and breathing techniques. Coaches will learn how to assess clients holistically—physically, mentally, and emotionally—giving them a unique edge in their coaching practice.

The Level 1 Certification is completely online. It includes 10 live group calls, assessment reviews, and access to learning materials. While there are no in-person components for the certification itself, Moved Academy offers separate in-person workshops and retreats for those seeking hands-on learning.

We are working to gain accreditation for CEUs with major fitness organizations. Please check with your certifying body to see if they will accept Moved Academy’s certification for CEU credits, as this can vary by organization.
